Get Your NT Tax Code Quickly & Hassle-Free

Stop paying UK income tax when you don’t have to.

We help you apply for your NT (No Tax) code quickly and correctly, so you keep more of your income.

An NT tax code is issued by HMRC and tells your employer or pension provider not to deduct UK income tax from your payments.

It’s used when you’re non-UK resident for tax purposes or when your income is exempt from UK tax under a double taxation agreement.

Without it, you could be paying unnecessary UK tax — money you may never get back unless you claim a refund.

It’s typically used when you’re living or working abroad and your income is not taxable in the UK under HMRC rules.

Who Can Apply for an NT Code?

You might qualify for an NT code if:

> You’re covered by a UK double taxation treaty with your country of residence.

>You’ve moved overseas and are a non-UK resident under HMRC’s Statutory Residence Test.

>You’re working abroad for a UK employer.

>You receive a UK pension taxed in another country.

>You’re a seafarer, offshore worker, or oil & gas worker with exempt earnings.

>Without an NT code, HMRC will tell your employer or pension scheme to deduct UK tax — even if you shouldn’t be paying it.

Form Completion

I can provide you with guidance on the options available to you, depending on your location. I will not recommend any specific providers.

Full Guidance

Having UK Investments whilst living in the US is a bit of a minefield owing to the PFIC rules about collective foreign assets. I can guide you accordingly.

Total Oversight

An absolutely minefield too. I do not proclaim to be a US/UK Tax expert, but i had worked exclusively in that space for 7 years, so I can hopefully help.

I’m not normally one to toot my own horn, however some people on LinkedIn have some nice things to say about me and the service I provided them, so i have copied them here for you to see.

Provide us with the details we would need to prefill and complete all the appropriate forms for you.

No paperwork headaches for you. We take care of the paperwork on both sides of the transaction.

We will keep in contact with you throughout the process. Providing coverage and guidance where needed.

How long does the process take to get an NT tax code?

Unfortunately when you are dealing with tax entities they can take a while. We have seen them as fast as 3 months and as slow as 12 months. Plan accordingly.

Do I need an NT code if I’ve already left the UK?

You don’t necessarily need one period! Without one you are subject to PAYE based income tax on a withholding basis, especially with your pensions. If you are happy to pay tax in the UK, happy to offset your taxes, or are willing to file a return each year to claim overpaid tax back, then you don’t need an NT. Most people see an NT as a blessing, a streamlining tool that saves the grief and hassle of being taxed/overtaxed in the UK and having to reclaim.

Will my NT code last forever?

No, not necessarily. HMRC will review NT codes periodically and may require updated information from you, mainly to check you are still resident in the country the NT was applied from.

Are all countries covered by the NT process?

No. This is something you need to ascertain from the very start. The NT is only available to people in countries where there is a robust Dual Tax Agreement that specifically states income or pension income.

Can I claim back tax I’ve already paid before getting an NT code?

Yes – if you were eligible for an NT tax code earlier but tax was still deducted, you can usually claim a refund from HMRC for the overpaid amount. The claim process is separate from the NT code application, but we can help you with both. Although depending on your circumstances you might need physical tax advice.

Are you a tax advising, planning or preparation firm?

No. We do not provide any guidance on tax, we are not qualified or regulated to do so. We offer a simple administrative service that helps you streamline the form filling and submission process. It is your responsibility to ascertain if the NT is right for you. The entire process can be completed by you. We take the pain out of needing to do that by knowing the exact process.

How is my personal data protected?

We take your privacy seriously. All information you provide is handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), and your data is stored securely using encrypted systems. We will never share your personal details with third parties unless required by law or you give us explicit consent.
